This has nothing to do with anything, but I really, really like guy pants.

On me.

(On guys too, but...) THEY ACTUALLY FIT. And I don't need to try on every *#@! pair on before I buy them. They actually come in *GASP!* logical sizes! And the sizes are consistent between brands! Will the wonders never cease.

If you hadn't guessed, I just got back form the grocery store with 4 pairs of pants that fit in less than half an hour. I think this is some sort of record. WOOT!

Hi.

So. Eight months... sheesh! I think I should update more. In the interim, there has been much sketching, so that backlog is even larger than it has been; about four sketchbooks worth, these days.

On a happier note, I tried NaNoWriMo for the first time and won, with 52,803 words! I was quite surprised. I might post it here, but it's not looking too likely at the moment. I was writing the scenes out of order, and, well... I have managed to reassemble them into chronological order, but there are still some big holes to fill in, and the whole thing needs some hard-core edits.

Next big project? About 18 bentwood boxes. A portfolio. It'll be lots of fun, but it's going to be tough getting them designed, bent, and decorated properly before my deadline.  Hopefully, I'm going to be able to do most of my bending in the next two weeks or so-- I just need to get the right wood!

My scanner is on the fritz, so I'm not going to be able to do the massive sketch dump I was planning. (It would have been huge too. I'm about a sketchbook and a half behind, and I use big sketchbooks.)

Instead, I'm going to go through my computer and start uploading my backlog of photos, digital art, and 3D things. :/

That's the plan. But my biology class is starting to rev up in a fairly big way. It should cool down significantly on the 11th of May, so I'll have more time for the uploading after that.

(Would anyone be interested in photos of my two epic quests this semester? In the areas of textiles and pottery?)

On another tangent, due to this new thing with the message center, I need to go through my backlog of deviations and sort all the old ones out. So if you get a bunch of +favs or comments on things a year or two old, that's why. Sorry for my lateness. I watch too many people, I think... They sure seem to pile up fast!

I wrote short in December for my English class and posted it last night.

It's a second draft, and long for dA (11 pages of 12pt, in word). It's also a bit dry in the beginning, and missing a small section. I may be hasty, but I was hoping to get more comments on it than I have (none). It's very understandable, but still frustrating.

Could you guys crit for me? Or give tips on making it... more reader-friendly? I want to get it so you can't tell I wrote part after midnight...

Any and all crit is welcome, and feel free to be nitpicky and harsh- the more you say, the more I can fix
